Good idea to give guilds more depth than just a group of friends.

Those are awesome ideas. The first has been mentioned several times and I agree! Only certain people should be allowed to enter RATED battles in GvG so nothing happens, like in our guild, when you check who is on in your guild and realize someone fought and made you a sinking ship! I hate being a TITANIC!
I know they are working (high priority) on rankings within the guild but just wish they'd implement it soon! The gold idea is awesome too... guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Yes, there have been many many posts about this and each post I agree with. Again I use my saying, "For a game called Guild Wars, theres not too much emphasis on Guild"

The more forums about this there are the higher chance it will be read and changed. The worst thing is that it gets deleted.

Actually the worst thing is more and more people start to disobey the rules and don't care because they have the same atittude ase you. Yes, that would be the worst thing.

guilds should be populated with people you've screened if you at all care about pvp ratings
if you allow someone to enter your guild and screw your pvp ranking then your ranking is a direct reflection of your leadership abilities. Nobody in my guild would ever do this. We screen people, have effective leadership, mutual respect between members, and don't let in ten year olds.
i'm glad i stumbled across this thread. it made me happy.

Of corse it's possible to do this now, but it would be much easier to "screen" ppl, if you can give them a beginner membership, where you can see how he performs.
